From Rebelscum.com:
As part of this week's Q&A session, Hasbro also sent along the following announcement:
"The elephant in the room:
Can we say we held back confirmation because we really couldn't believe it ourselves that it was happening, and didn't want to dash hopes if it somehow fell through? No? OK then, it is time to come clean.
As most people have seen by now, pictures did get leaked of what we were hoping would be the biggest secret we ever held onto - the massive, new 3-3/4" Millennium Falcon. We can confirm that it *is* real, and it *is* spectacular! Please trust us when we say that our intentions were truly in the right place - we wanted to surprise fans everywhere with the biggest secret we had ever tried to hold back leading up to the massive 7/26 launch date for The Clone Wars/The Legacy Collection.
We do expect the first availability to be 7/26 at the same time as everything else. We have been working against a reveal plan, including a world debut in Wired Magazine (June issue, on sale in May!), followed by some very key celebrity reviews and additional exposure prior to the public debut at Comic Con.
At least that was our intention...with something like this, as big as it is, and as intense the interest is in Star Wars, it proved impossible to hold. Look for additional details to roll out as per the schedule above, and look forward to the full public debut at Comic Con."
Check out the above photo of the new Millennium Falcon that was on display during the Brazilian Toy Fair.

Commando_Danny has just finished this week long picture novel of what he thinks the Clone Wars moive will be. It's a little picture storybook for you to enjoy. This could contain spoilers so think before you read. Enjoy!

Going to Disney's MGM studios during the summer? Well Check out this list provided by starwars.com for the Guests of Star Wars Weekends 2008.
Time to start planning for Star Wars Weekends! Starting in June, fans get to meet an impressive lineup of special guests attending four weekends of Star Wars fun at the Disney-MGM Studios in Florida. From June 6 to June 29, 2008, fans of all ages will converge to celebrate the heroes, villains, creatures and droids of the saga. In addition to Star Wars costumed characters, fun activities, and the Star Tours theme park ride, celebrity guests will be in attendance for meet-and-greet sessions, star conversations, and a classic Hollywood-style motorcade.
Here's a look at the celebrity guests which include Star Wars cast members from the entire saga. Please check back here for future updates to the guest list as it may be subject to change.
The celebrity host for each weekend will be Warwick Davis. Davis was only 11 years old when he played the Ewok hero Wicket in Return of the Jedi. In Episode I, he played multiple roles, including that of Anakin's young friend Wald.
June 6-8 -- Jeremy Bulloch & Daniel Logan
The Fetts return! Jeremy Bulloch is known best for his role as the legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. He also made a brief cameo as Captain Colton in Revenge of the Sith. Daniel Logan played the young Boba Fett in Attack of the Clones, as well as all the 10-year old clones on Kamino.
June 13-15 -- Peter Mayhew & David Prowse
Two fan favorites share the stage: Peter Mayhew is no stranger to Star Wars Weekends. The towering Mayhew played the loyal Wookiee Chewbacca in the original trilogy, and revisited the role in Revenge of the Sith. David Prowse is another imposing presence -- he filled out Darth Vader's awesome form in the original trilogy, playing the man behind the mask.
June 20-22 -- Amy Allen & Matthew Wood
Amy Allen played the role of the striking Jedi Knight Aayla Secura in Episode II and III. Also there that weekend will be Episode III's Supervising Sound Editor Matthew Wood, the voice of the evil General Grievous in that movie as well as the upcoming animated series, The Clone Wars.
June 27-29 -- Dave Filoni
The creative force behind the next chapter of the Star Wars saga, Dave Filoni is the Supervising Director of The Clone Wars animated feature and series, as well as a die-hard Star Wars fan himself. What does the future hold in store for Star Wars? He'll be there to offer an inside look. Joining him this weekend... well, that's yet to be determined. From Starwars.com:
In Star Wars: The Clone Wars, fans will see design elements that bridge the entire saga, like this early Republic version of the classic Y-wing fighter that appears in the series.
What do you think of this early design of the Y-wing? Talk about it in our forums!
From StarWars.com:
Why now? Why was now the right time to bring Star Wars to animation?
This is a project we've actually been working on since the end of Revenge of the Sith, I've worked in animation before with Steven [Spielberg] in A Land Before Time, John Korty on a film [Twice Upon a Time] and a few other things. I love animation. I started out in film school in animation, and I felt it was time to explore that medium, and then at the same time be able to explore a part of Star Wars that is so vast that you can't deal with the Luke Skywalker / Anakin Skywalker saga... you get to deal a little bit more with the minutiae of the Clone Wars.
Clearly this has a different look than anything that's come before. Can you share with us the method you went ahead to do this, and the thinking behind the design of The Clone Wars and also the design of the characters?
In order to create The Clone Wars, I had to develop a whole new studio from scratch. We've really been able to advance our animation ambitions. When it comes to the look and feel of The Clone Wars project, I wanted to do something that was in the realm of anime, design-wise, but still different. So I said, "How can we do this along with a strong storytelling sensibility?"
I have a tendency that --- just like with Star Wars, which is based in the 1930s Republic Saturday matinee serials, or Indiana Jones which is based on the same thing -- I wanted to give it a look and the feel of something that's from the past. So everybody was fairly amused in the animation community that we picked Gerry Anderson and Thunderbirds to be our inspiration. It has a very stylized look. I didn't want it to look like Beowulf, which we could've done, or The Incredibles, and when you're doing animation about live action actors and everyone knows what they look like, you really do have to come up with a sophisticated and dynamic caricature of these people.
A lot of people are excited about the new characters that you've incorporated into the storyline, great new good guys and great new villains.
We added a new character. We needed to change the dynamic between Obi-Wan the mentor and Anakin the Padawan, which is where we left them. That's how they entered the Clone Wars. We wanted to make that relationship become more dynamic... sort of like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. They're now equal. They're now partners. They're now working together.
But we really wanted to have that Padawan-mentor relationship, so we gave the most unlikely person a Padawan, which is Anakin, and we made the Padawan a girl. She's very feisty. She's very outgoing and independent-minded, which gives Anakin a real challenge, because he's sort of like that too. He's trying to clean up his act by teaching her to settle down and think and not be so aggressive.
She gets in her share of action.
She's a great character. She's turned out really fantastic.
We have seen the pics, now let's see the videos.
Thanks again to Mousedroid.com for these videos.

There have been new pictures and packaging that we haven't seen which is now avalible to us! These wonderful pics were taken in the Australian Toyfair. Thanks to Mousedroid.com for providing us these pics! Check out the forum for more pictures and details!
